Order Up: Happy Birthday Little Ry and Alexa!

The order:
2 Dozen Funfetti (vanilla with rainbow sprinkles) with vanilla buttercream
2 Dozen Chub Rub

This order has been in the works for a while! A few months ago, Rose, Alexa's momma contacted me when she was thinking about Dora cupcakes for the birthday party. Then Rain, Ryan's mom, contacted me to let me know this order was a go! Since this party was a two-fer, the theme was Dora and Cars - so the cupcakes were going to be decorated as such!

So into the kitchen I went. I baked up the chocolate cupcakes for the Cub Rub, then the vanilla for the funfetti...which was homemade! Nothing like adding bright sprinkles to the batter to look cute and girly! As the cupcakes were baking, the cupcakes picks were made.

Two batches of buttercream, pretty swirls and colorful sprinkles, the Dora cupcakes were done! The cupcake picks were placed on top and the pretty little girls were packaged up and ready to go!

Hello little Dora and your cute backpack!
After all these orders, I still love the wrapping around them!

Next up were getting Tow Mater and Lightning McQueen ready to go. Rain suggested Chub Rub since it is topped with Graham cracker to look like dirt road! LOVED it!

We cored the cupcakes, filled them with delicious marshmellow filling, topped with buttercream and crushed graham crackers. YUMMMMMMMMY! Once they were done, we topped the cupcakes with the picks and they were boxed up and ready to race away!

Hello little fellas!

Once everything was packed up, it was off to delivery at this awesome kids bounce place! They had their own room, with lots of bounce houses, games, and tons of awesome areas for the kids to play!

Happy Birthday Little Ry and Alexa - hope you enjoyed your cupcakes and birthday celebrations! Lucky little kids!

Order Up: Happy Birthday Jesse!

The order:
1 dozen chocolate cupcakes with buttercream icing

See that green guy right there? Yup, that's the inspiration for the cupcake order we did! Kris contacted me about a week ago and wanted to get a special birthday girl some cupcakes decorated like zombies...specifically from a show Invader Zim. She sent over some pictures and I picked the green guy cause, let's be honest, his tongue is adorable!

So into the kitchen I went, chocolate cupcakes were baked, icing was prepared and colored green. Then it was time to decorate.

First I added a layer of green buttercream. For the tongues I used some strawberry gum sticks. Then I added black lines to mimic the ones he had...and the eyes were piped with frosting, adding a dot of black them.
I think they turned out a little kick ass if I do say so myself. Each one looked similar but was unique! And they were so much fun to make! I debated using fondant to make the lines perfect, but I don't like the taste and I think that using buttercream gave each one their own personality!

They were boxed up and waiting for pickup and it was awesome that I got to watch Kris show Jesse the cupcakes! She told her she got her an Elmo cake - but really these bad boys were waiting for her!

Kris send me this picture of the birthday girl and her cupcakes! Apparently Klicious Cupcakes loves tailgates at the Eagles!

Happy birthday Jesse! Hope you enjoyed your Zombie suprise and the Eagles win just for you!

Order Up: Happy Birthday Mikey!

The order:
24 mini basic vanilla cupcakes
2 XLarge Cookie Dough

This is another order from our one and only cupcake gremlin :) One of her best friends was having a birthday celebration and she wanted cupcakes for him. After numerous texts back and forth, we decided on the order and away to the kitchen I went!

First, for those who don't know...our gremlin has ordered cupcakes for just about everyone of her friends, sisters, any reason she can to get her paws on some cupcakes! So being awesome, I made sure that she got an extra large cupcake of her own so she didn't have to "oopsie" any!

Jumbo vanilla cupcake, cookie dough center, cream cheese frosting!

Hello little minis! Decorated with chocolate sprinkles, blue sprinkles and 2 candles, cause we make orders special like that!

I loved the idea of the large ones for the birthday boy to enjoy!

Hope you enjoyed your cupcakes you little gremlin...and a happiest of birthdays to the special birthday boy!
