Order Up: Congratulations Graduates!

The order:
5 dozen vanilla with vanilla buttercream
4 dozen chocolate with chocolate buttercream

A few weeks ago, Isis contacted me and wanted to know if I'd be interested in making cupcakes for the NY school district.  Ummm of course! She let me know that her new school was having a graduation celebration and they wanted to give each graduate a cupcake! How adorable!

Since it was NY, they needed to be made and packaged up the day before so Isis could come down and pick them up - no problem for us!

Into the kitchen we went! I wish I could say this was an easy order...but the first batch of chocolate I forgot the baking soda and they turned out like brownies...so onto another batch.  In the meantime, the icing was made and the rest of the cupcakes baked.

When that was done it was time to place each cupcake in its own cup for safe wrapping!

From there, each was frosted and topped with silver sprinkles.
Once that was done, it was time to bag, ribbon and box them up for the trip to NY!

Congratulations and we hope you enjoyed kiddos!

  1. where did u buy the metal stand in the back, holding ur supplies?

also , if u had lids, u could have placed cupcakes on the lid, iced and covered with the cup.. so the cupcake could be in tact after they got it out of the cup .

good job tho . they look awesome.. =)
